I know you need an RSVP, so just put me down as a wistful “No thank You” to all the events.
My daughter, son-in-law and family have not been to Hawaii in more than 5 years. They will be here (staying with us) June 3 – 13.
My husband and I will have just returned from a 2 week trip to visit other kids (Washington, D.C., Grand Rapids, MI and the Twin Cities, Minn), so I’m not even sure I can get vacation during June 3 – 13 to spend much time with them.
Base on that I’m sure you can tell I’m happily married and still working. Five years ago I married Jensen Lipton. Linda and Abe Kealoha know us as a couple from ballroom dance classes and I believe that Yuki knows Jensen professionally. Between us Jensen and I have 7 children and 9 grandchildren. Thank God - everyone is doing fine. There have been challenges (health issues with the grandchildren), but it’s all good. I’m a VP and trust officer with Bank of Hawaii – fascinating work. Life is good. Maryknoll and my fellow students definitely contributed to my developing into a happy and productive person. I’ll miss getting together this time, but hope there will be other opportunities.
